The earth-shattering conclusion to Veronica Rossi’s “masterpiece” Under the Never Sky trilogy and sequel to the New York Times bestsellingThrough the Ever Night (Examiner.com).
Their love and their leadership have been tested. Now it’s time for Perry and Aria to unite the Dwellers and the Outsiders in one last desperate attempt to bring balance to their world.
The race to the Still Blue has reached a stalemate. Aria and Perry are determined to find this last safe-haven from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess do-and they are just as determined to stay together.
Meanwhile, time is running out to rescue Cinder, who was abducted by Hess and Sable for his unique abilities. And when Roar returns to camp, he is so furious with Perry that he won’t even look at him, and Perry begins to feel like they have already lost.
Out of options, Perry and Aria assemble a team to mount an impossible rescue mission-because Cinder isn’t just the key to unlocking the Still Blue and their only hope for survival, he’s also their friend. And in a dying world, the bonds between people are what matter most.
What's Happening at The PartyThanks so much for throwing this party for the UNDER THE NEVER SKY characters—and the end of the series with the publication of INTO THE STILL BLUE.
Everyone is here with me and very excited for the festivities! Perry brought his new bow—a really beautiful one with a carved handle that he and Talon have been working on. He has agreed to play Shoot the Arrow on the Donkey later—from a distance of 200 yards to make it fair for everyone else.
Aria has brought along some song ideas. She can’t wait to sing—to give a real concert. She has even recruited the Twisted Green Bottles, and, of course, Roar, who will sing a solo later, probably while doing his bedroom-eyes thing. It should be a night of great music. Maybe we should rename this party Aria-chella? Ariapalooza?
For his part, Roar didn’t bring anything, and seems to believe his presence is more than enough. Other people are here as well. Soren is arguing with the caterers about something. Brooke is challenging Perry on the Shoot the Arrow on the Donkey game, claiming she’ll shoot from the same place as him and win—and the Six are laying bets on this. What else? Willow, Cinder, Talon and Clara are getting into the cupcakes. Marron is admiring the books on the shelf, the paintings on the wall, the floorplan, the garden, the food. Reef seems to glare at everything Roar says. Hess and Sable are alone in the corner, scheming, by the looks of it.
Everyone is here, and very grateful to all of you for hosting this party. And we all hope you enjoy the final book.
Thank you so much!
